Robert Perez, President

Robert serves as President for SECURECARE Inc.  SECURECARE Inc. has several subsidiaries, which include a Divorce Mediation Business, Elder Care Agency and Direct Dental Staffing.

Perez has 20 years experience developing and growing healthcare, financial and career management/ staffing enterprises.  He has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Fresenius Hemo Care, a subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest dialysis company. Prior to this he served as Manager of Physician Network Development for HealthCap, a venture capital backed startup, and at the time, the second largest provider of women’s healthcare in the United States.  Perez has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, specializing in start-up and business turnarounds.

Perez, a veteran, received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and holds a bachelors degree in Marketing from National University.

Heather Karasch, Office Manager

Heather was born and raised in Maryland and moved to San Diego in 2005. Heather started working in the dental field when she was in High School and 12 years later she could not imagine doing anything else!  Her experiences working as a Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator and Insurance Specialist give her the ability to better understand the needs of not only our Clients but our Applicants as well; a ‘hands on’ knowledge that few others can offer to customers. Heather has been a Staffing Coordinator at DDS since January 2007 and is also our A/R Specialist for DDServices, an accounts receivable management service available to our clients at an additional cost.  Heather’s free time is spent with her family, playing soccer and trying desperately to keep up with her 3 year old daughter, Kaelyn. 

Yesenia Currier, Staffing Coordinator

Yesenia was born in Fresno and moved to San Diego when she was very young.  She has over 7 years of Administrative and Customer Service experience.  Yesenia’s desire to further her education in the dental field brought her to DDS where she found herself a career as a Staffing Coordinator.  Yesenia is married to Pastor Josiah of the Golden Way Church and is blessed with two beautiful sons.  When she is not working hard to find people jobs, you can be sure to find Yesenia spending time with her family whether it is at the beach, going to a see a movie, or simply enjoying beautiful San Diego.

Hilary Kelly, Staffing Coordinator

Hilary moved to San Diego in August 2009 to be with her husband, an enlisted member of the United States Navy. Hilary is a registered dental hygienist in Vermont and while she was awaiting her licensure for California, she worked as a Staffing Coordinator with DDS.  Once Hilary received her California hygiene license, she was immediately scooped up by one of our clients on a part time basis.  Hilary continues to temp through DDS on the days her permanent office does not need her. Hilary has a French Bulldog named Bam-Bam, and a soft spot for English Bulldogs. She loves shopping, reading, movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Colleen Carroll, Consultant

Colleen is a San Diego native and has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of dental staffing and boasts long established relationships with the most elite dental practices and dental personnel in the San Diego, Riverside and Imperial County area. Having worked early on as both a dental assistant and dental office manager, Colleen possesses the hands on knowledge that few others can offer to customers.
